Carrie

“If you've got a taste for terror...Take Carrie to the prom!”

Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) wants one ordinary thing: to get through high school without being laughed at. Her classmates mock her, and at home her mother Margaret (Piper Laurie) preaches that everything Carrie feels is sin. Brian De Palma follows her as a power she doesn't understand begins to stir, while one classmate, Sue Snell (Amy Irving), starts to feel guilty for her part in it.
