Carrie

“If only they knew she had the power.”

A girl in the middle of a gym class is humiliated in front of everyone, and Carrie White (Angela Bettis) has been taking that kind of treatment from her classmates for years. At home, her mother Margaret (Patricia Clarkson) turns every fear into scripture and every mistake into a sin. David Carson builds the film around the two of them, a daughter with a strange power and a mother who would sooner pray it away than touch her.
