“The holiday of a laughtime!”

Vic Flange (Sidney James) wants four days in the Spanish sun, away from his wife Cora (Joan Sims) and with a bit of fun on the side. So he books the package trip to Elsbels with a crowd of fellow holidaymakers, Mr. Stuart Farquhar (Kenneth Williams) and Mr. Eustace Tuttle (Charles Hawtrey) among them. Gerald Thomas sends them off to a hotel that isn't finished, in awful weather, with staff who all look alike and foundations that may not hold.
