Carry On England

It is 1940, and England is under heavy bombardment, yet at one experimental mixed-sex air defence base the crew seem more interested in each other than in the planes overhead. Captain Melly (Kenneth Connor) arrives as the new commanding officer, determined to separate the men from the women. Gerald Thomas keeps the barracks loud and crowded, and the question underneath is whether an army run by rules can hold out against people who simply want company.
