Carry On Henry

“A great guy with his 'chopper'!”

King Henry VIII (Sid James) is a loud, hungry, wife-weary monarch, newly married to Marie of Normandy (Joan Sims) and keen to get on with the wedding night. She eats garlic constantly and will not give it up. Gerald Thomas keeps the Tudor court as broad as a pantomime, and Henry schemes with Thomas Cromwell (Kenneth Williams) to be rid of her without angering the King of France.
