Why does a young man sign on with a captain called Fearless, aboard a ship full of misfit hands? Midshipman Albert Poop-Decker (Bernard Cribbins) goes looking for adventure on the high seas, and Gerald Thomas puts him on a deck with Captain Fearless (Kenneth Williams). Charles Hawtrey swabs nearby, and Kenneth Williams stands in the colour, in a period costume, as the captain.
