Carry On Matron

“The Carry On team serve up another 'prescription' of hilarious comedy!!!”

Sid Carter (Sidney James) runs a gang of thieves who have settled on a shipment of contraceptive pills sitting in Finisham maternity hospital. They put on disguises and walk in, only to find the place already crowded with Sir Bernard Cutting (Kenneth Williams), a hypochondriac consultant, and Matron (Hattie Jacques), who notice everything. Gerald Thomas directs a farce where dignity is the easiest thing in the building to lose.
