Cars of the Revolution

Gündüz (Taner Birsel) is an engineer in Turkey in the years of the military coup, working in a country that has never built a car of its own. A pasha believes Turks can make one and orders two, and Gündüz has 130 days to deliver them with a small team that includes Uğur (Halit Ergenç) and Necip (Haluk Bilginer). Tolga Örnek turns that deadline into a question of national pride, and the work on the shop floor carries it.
