Casa de Mi Padre

(2012)Directed by Matt Piedmont84 min · RComedy, Western
“Funniest movie you'll ever read.”

On a struggling ranch in Mexico, Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) has worked his father's land all his life, and the land is now in danger. When his brother Raul arrives with a glamorous fiancée and a plan to save the place, the family is pulled into a war with the drug lord Onza (Gael García Bernal). Matt Piedmont stages it all in the style of an overly dramatic 1970s telenovela, played completely straight.
