Casanova

“He won every woman's heart. She won his.”

One woman in Venice does not care that Casanova (Heath Ledger) is there, and no one in the city can explain it. Francesca (Sienna Miller) turns away from the man every other wife and widow has fallen for, which only makes him chase her harder. Lasse Hallström fills the palazzos and masked balls with thick velvet and candlelight, and lets the pace run slow and warm.
