Casanova '70

“Made in all the loveliest places...Burma, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy”

Major Andrea Rossi-Colombotti (Marcello Mastroianni) can only find pleasure with a beautiful woman when his life is in danger, and nothing in his army career explains why. His pursuits take him through the company of Gigliola (Virna Lisi), Thelma (Marisa Mell) and Noelle (Michèle Mercier), each of whom brings a risk of her own. Mario Monicelli directs it as an Italian sex comedy, light on its feet and dressed in the money of a Carlo Ponti production.
