“Sometimes love is hiding between the seconds of your life.”

Ben Willis (Sean Biggerstaff) is an art student who stops sleeping after a painful breakup. He takes the late shift at a supermarket to fill the hours, and among the other night workers, including Sharon Pintey (Emilia Fox) at the register, his imagination starts to run loose. Sean Ellis lets Ben fix the nights in his sketchbook, the store lit in flat fluorescent white while everyone outside is asleep.
