“Honor. Integrity. Principles. Everything is negotiable.”

Jack Abramoff (Kevin Spacey) works Washington as a lobbyist, trading dinners, trips and favors for votes, and he brings in Michael Scanlon (Barry Pepper) to help run the schemes. George Hickenlooper sets it in the 2000s and keeps it moving as a comedy, with Spacey doing Abramoff's Hollywood impressions between calls. Pam (Kelly Preston) and their children wait at home, while Jack keeps telling himself he's one of the good guys.
