“Family is family. Blood is blood.”

In England, brothers Terry (Colin Farrell) and Ian (Ewan McGregor) are both deep in money trouble. Then their wealthy uncle Howard (Tom Wilkinson) proposes they solve it by turning to crime, and the offer is hard to turn down. Woody Allen follows the two as the pressure builds, with Terry and Ian side by side, the debts unpaid, and the offer still waiting.
