Cast a Dark Shadow

“No woman could resist his sinister charm!”

Teddy Bare (Dirk Bogarde) is a charming schemer who kills his older wife, sure the money will be his. It isn't, so he turns to Freda Jeffries (Margaret Lockwood), a wealthy widow, and Lewis Gilbert follows him as he sets about courting her. Freda is sharper and far more guarded than the last wife, and if Teddy cannot get hold of her money, he has nothing left.
