Castle Freak

“Hideous, hungry, and loose!”

A distant relative dies and leaves an Italian castle to John Reilly (Jeffrey Combs), an American trying to stay sober. He brings his estranged wife Susan (Barbara Crampton) and their blind daughter Rebecca (Jessica Dollarhide) to live there, hoping the place might mend what is broken between them. Stuart Gordon films the stone rooms and the basement door with a patience that makes you wait for what is locked behind it.
