Castle in the Sky

“One day, a girl came down from the sky…”

Sheeta (Keiko Yokozawa), an orphan girl, carries a crystal necklace that is the key to Laputa, a legendary flying castle lost in the sky. When she falls from an airship and is caught by Pazu (Mayumi Tanaka), a boy in a mining town, the two become targets for soldiers and sky pirates hunting the necklace. Miyazaki sends them running across floating islands with the castle itself drawing closer, and everything they care for hanging in the balance.
