Castle in the Sky

“One day, a girl came down from the sky…”

Pazu (Mayumi Tanaka), an orphan who wants to find the legendary floating castle his late father once claimed to have seen, has his chance when a girl named Sheeta (Keiko Yokozawa) drifts down out of the sky wearing a crystal necklace. Hayao Miyazaki sets them running from pirates, the army and the government agent Muska, since every one of them wants that crystal. If it reaches the wrong hands, the key to Laputa and all its advanced technology goes with it.
