Castle of Purity

Gabriel Lima (Claudio Brook) runs a rat poison business out of his Mexico City home, and he has decided the outside world is too corrupt for his family to enter. His wife Beatriz (Rita Macedo) and their three children, Porvenir (Arturo Beristáin), Utopía (Diana Bracho) and Voluntad (Gladys Bermejo), live behind locked doors under his rules. Arturo Ripstein draws on a real 1959 criminal case, and Gabriel keeps calling the locks his love for them.
