Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

“Just one pillow on her bed... and just one desire in her heart.”

Brick Pollitt (Paul Newman) is a former football star who spends his days drinking, still unable to face how his closest friend died. His wife Maggie (Elizabeth Taylor) wants him to look at her, and he turns away every time. Richard Brooks gathers the family at Big Daddy's (Burl Ives) birthday as he lies dying, and everyone in the house is lying, mostly about what they want.
