Cat Sick Blues

“All he needs is nine lives.”

Ted (Matthew C. Vaughan) loses his beloved cat and comes apart, convinced that nine human lives are all it will take to bring her back. He puts on a cat mask and a pair of clawed gloves and goes looking for the first of them, while Claire (Shian Denovan), who has lost a cat of her own, drifts toward him. Dave Jackson keeps the camera on the mess and the grief together, with no cutaway to spare you.
