Catch Me If You Can

“The true story of a real fake.”

In the 1960s, Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a teenager who has worked out that a good uniform and a confident walk get him past nearly anyone. Over the next few years he passes bad checks as a Pan Am pilot, a doctor, and a prosecutor, while FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) follows the paper trail. Steven Spielberg stays close to Frank, grinning in his captain's cap, the cashed checks stacking up behind him.
