Catherine Called Birdy

“Don't call me lady.”

Birdy (Bella Ramsey) is fourteen in medieval England, and she keeps a diary where she writes down her complaints. Her father, Lord Rollo (Andrew Scott), has begun lining up wealthy suitors for her, and she is set on getting rid of every one. Lena Dunham fills the manor with mud and a household that never stops talking, with Birdy at the middle of it.
