Cathy Come Home

Reg Ward (Ray Brooks) loses his well-paid job, and the money that kept his family comfortable begins to run out. Cathy (Carol White), his wife, is left holding three young children while the rent and the rooms they can afford both shrink. Ken Loach shot this 1966 BBC play like a documentary, and Cathy keeps trying to hold her household together.
