Cats

“You will believe.”

Victoria (Francesca Hayward), a young white cat left on a London street, wants to belong somewhere, and the Jellicle tribe is the only home on offer. Once a year the Jellicles gather for a ball, where Old Deuteronomy (Judi Dench) chooses one cat to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and return to a new life. Tom Hooper's cast of singing, dancing cats compete for that choice, and Macavity (Idris Elba) is out to tip it his way.
