CB4

“Sex, rap and family values?”

In 1993 a documentary crew follows CB4, a rap group that says it was formed in a prison block of the same name. Its members are MC Gusto (Chris Rock), Dead Mike (Allen Payne) and Stab Master Arson (Deezer D), and none of them knows much about rap or has been inside. Tamra Davis plays it as a straight-faced rockumentary, suggesting that an image can sell records faster than any real talent.
