“Be young. Be free. Be somebody.”

Freddie Taylor (Christian Cooke) wants out of the working-class town where he grew up, but his friends Bruce (Tom Hughes) and Snork (Jack Doolan) like their days of drinking, fighting and chasing girls just fine. Then Freddie takes a job selling door to door and runs into Julie Kendrick (Felicity Jones), a girl he knew at school. Gervais and Merchant set it in 1970s England, and it comes down to whether you leave the place that made you or stay.
