“You can't edit reality.”

Enid Baines (Niamh Algar) wants to do her job well, and in Britain in the 1980s that means watching violent films all day and deciding which scenes the public should never see. A low-budget horror lands on her desk, and its story sounds uncomfortably like her sister's disappearance. Prano Bailey-Bond sets Enid against Doug Smart (Michael Smiley), the film's maker, and a grim sense of kinship grows between them.
