Certified Copy

James Miller (William Shimell) has come to Tuscany to promote his book on originals and copies, and a French woman, Elle (Juliette Binoche), offers to drive him to the village of Lucignano. Abbas Kiarostami lets their talk run through the car and the cafe in English, French and Italian, until a stranger takes them for a married couple and neither corrects him. Elle keeps stepping into the part, and James has to decide how far he will follow her.
