Chaahat

“Moments of love, moments of pain.”

Roop Singh Rathod (Shah Rukh Khan) comes to the city with his father, Shambunath (Anupam Kher), for medical treatment, and there he falls for Pooja (Pooja Bhatt). Reshma (Ramya Krishnan) loves him too, and when she threatens to take her own life, Roop agrees to marry her. Mahesh Bhatt builds the film around one painful fact: a person can be loved fiercely by someone he cannot love back.
