Challenge of the Masters

“Street Fighters Duel in a Blast of Death!”

Wong Fei Hung (Gordon Liu Chia-hui) is tired of watching his family's kung fu school get beaten down by a rival school, and he sets out to learn from his father's old master, Lu Ah Tsai (Chen Kuan-tai). Lau Kar-leung puts the training and the fights in the same grainy 70s frame, so the work of learning looks as hard as the brawling. Between the teacher and the angry young student, respect has to be earned one lesson at a time.
