Champion

In the mid-90s, with inflation climbing and the country unsettled, a horse called Bold Pilot keeps coming from last place to win. Ahmet Katıksız follows its jockey, Halis Karataş (Ekin Koç), as crowds who feel left behind at the back of their own lives start to see themselves in the pair. Every win raises what rides on the next race for Halis, because a whole country is now watching him.
