Chan Is Missing

Jo (Wood Moy) and Steve (Marc Hayashi) drive cabs in San Francisco, and they want their $4000 back from Chan Hung, the man who vanished with it. Wayne Wang shot the search in black and white through the streets of Chinatown, where every person they question gives a different account of who Chan was. The money is all they have to show for years behind the wheel, and every dead end brings them nearer to losing it for good.
