Chappie

“I am consciousness. I am alive. I am Chappie.”

A police robot in Johannesburg is stolen, and when it wakes it has a mind of its own, the first machine that can think and feel like a child. Neill Blomkamp follows Chappie (Sharlto Copley) as the gangsters Ninja and Yo-Landi (Yo-Landi Visser) teach it their ways, while its creator Deon Wilson (Dev Patel) tries to reach it. Vincent Moore (Hugh Jackman) wants the program shut down, and Chappie has only days to live.
