Charley Varrick

“When he runs out of dumb luck, he always has genius to fall back on!”

The sun-bleached bank in a small town looks like an easy mark, and Charley Varrick (Walter Matthau) hits it with his crew, including Harman Sullivan (Andrew Robinson). The take is far bigger than a town like that should hold, and it turns out to belong to the mob, so Charley now has the police and the mob after him. Don Siegel sets the weight of that on Charley and Molly (Joe Don Baker), a man sent to find him.
