“Life happens at the crossroads.”

Summer in Baltimore belongs to The Midnight Clique, the dirt bike riders who take over the streets while the heat sits on the rowhouses. Mouse (Jahi Di'Allo Winston), fourteen, wants in, and Blax (Meek Mill), the group's leader, takes him under his wing, pointing him toward fast money and a hard crowd. Ángel Manuel Soto sets that against Mouse's mother (Teyonah Parris), who wants her son on the straight road, and Mouse can't have both.
