Chasing Amy

“It's not who you love. It's how.”

At a comic convention, Holden McNeil (Ben Affleck) meets Alyssa Jones (Joey Lauren Adams), another comic book artist, and falls for her almost on the spot. Then he learns she's a lesbian, and he keeps seeing her anyway, to the annoyance of his partner Banky Edwards (Jason Lee). Kevin Smith's Holden is a man who wants to be told he has a chance, and he keeps hanging around until somebody says it.
