Chattahoochee
In 1955, Emmett Foley (Gary Oldman), a Korean War veteran, suffers a breakdown and is committed to a maximum-security state mental hospital in Florida. Inside, the patients are beaten and neglected, and Emmett shares a ward with Walker Benson (Dennis Hopper), a fellow inmate. Mick Jackson keeps the camera close in the cramped wards, so the walls press in on the men the same way they press on Emmett.
