Cheap Smokes

It is a warm August night in 2001, and Athens has emptied out, the streets quiet as the lights flicker on. Nikos (Renos Haralambidis), who also directs, meets a woman at a phone booth and starts talking, then starts walking with her. Sofia (Anna-Maria Papaharalambous) keeps pace beside him, and the two drift on through the empty city, the booth and its flickering light somewhere behind them.
