Chernobyl: Abyss

It is April 1986, hours after the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power station, and the site is still burning. Danila Kozlovsky directs and stars as Alexey, a firefighter who becomes a liquidator, one of the hundreds sent in to clean up the wreckage and keep the damage from spreading across Europe. Olga (Oksana Akinshina) is part of his life, and Alexey is what the cleanup costs him up close.
