Chico & Rita

“Do you know this guy?”

Havana in the late 1940s, and Chico (Eman Xor Oña) is a young piano player with big dreams who is drawn to Rita (Limara Meneses), a beautiful singer with an extraordinary voice. Music and desire bring them together, and the road that follows runs from Havana to New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Paris. Javier Mariscal and Fernando Trueba draw it all as animation, in the tradition of the bolero.
