Children of the Corn

“And a child shall lead them...”

Burton Stanton (Peter Horton) is a doctor driving cross-country with his girlfriend Vicky (Linda Hamilton) when they hit a boy lying in the road on a Nebraska highway. They carry him into Gatlin, a town with no grown-ups left in it, only children who answer to a preacher boy named Isaac (John Franklin) and a god said to live in the corn. Fritz Kiersch keeps the couple on foot between the rows, and Burt has no one to ask for help.
