Children Who Chase Lost Voices

“A journey to say goodbye.”

Asuna Watase (Hisako Kanemoto) passes her lonely days listening to faint music from a crystal radio, a keepsake from her late father. After a monster attacks her on the way home, a boy named Shun (Miyu Irino) saves her and vanishes, and she sets out with her teacher, Mr. Morisaki (Kazuhiko Inoue), for the land of Agartha. Makoto Shinkai sends her down into that world to find Shun again, and the journey puts her face to face with loss.
