Child's Play

“More than a toy... he's your best friend.”

In a cramped apartment where a single mother is working a retail job to keep up, Karen (Aubrey Plaza) brings home a Buddi doll for her lonely son Andy (Gabriel Bateman). The toy, voiced by Mark Hamill, is a high-tech companion that learns from the boy and begins to malfunction. Lars Klevberg keeps the family close to the doll, and the cost of that attachment is Andy's safety.
