Child's Pose

A boy is dead on a road after a car crash, and the driver is Barbu (Bogdan Dumitrache), a grown man of thirty-two whose mother will not let him face it. Cornelia Kerenes (Luminița Gheorghiu) takes the matter in hand, working her connections and her money to keep him from being charged. Călin Peter Netzer shoots in handheld, staying close on faces and cramped rooms, so there is no space to look away.
