Chilly Scenes of Winter

“A romantic comedy for all seasons”

Charles (John Heard), a bored civil servant in Salt Lake City, wants Laura (Mary Beth Hurt) back. She was a coworker who left him to return to her husband. Joan Micklin Silver follows him through a hard Utah winter as he replays the romance and plans what he'll say to her. He sits in his office, the winter outside the window, the phone near his hand.
