“An American dynamiter love-locked in war-locked China!”

The French phase of the war in Vietnam is nearly over when a group of mercenaries is recruited to cross enemy territory to the Chinese border. Among them is Sgt. Brock (Gene Barry) of the Foreign Legion, who finds the Eurasian wife he abandoned, Lucky Legs (Angie Dickinson), already tied to the mission. Samuel Fuller shoots it in CinemaScope, and the camera keeps moving as fast as the men do.
