(1935)Directed by Tay Garnett87 minAdventure, Action, Drama

A fortune in British gold is locked in the hold of a ship bound from Hong Kong to Singapore, and Captain Alan Gaskell (Clark Gable) is trusted to deliver it through dangerous waters. Tay Garnett puts two women on the same voyage, Dolly Portland (Jean Harlow), his loud, brassy mistress, and Sybil Barclay (Rosalind Russell), his refined fiancee. Wallace Beery is aboard as Jamesy MacArdle, and Robert Benchley reels drunk from one end of the ship to the other.
