Xavier Rousseau (Romain Duris) is forty and a father of two, and he still can't make his life stay in order. When Wendy (Kelly Reilly), the mother of his children, moves to New York, he decides he can't watch them grow up from across an ocean and follows her. Cédric Klapisch, closing out the trilogy that began with L'Auberge espagnole, lets the story wander with Xavier from one tangle to the next.
