CHiPs

“Chip happens.”

The freeways of Los Angeles are home to the California Highway Patrol's motorcycle officers, and two of them start a new partnership there. Jon Baker (Dax Shepard) and Frank "Ponch" Poncherello (Michael Peña) ride the same stretches of asphalt, and Shepard, who also wrote the film, adapts the 1977 television series. Baker and Ponch sit side by side on their bikes, engines idling, the traffic of the Los Angeles freeway running past them.
