Victor Mancini (Sam Rockwell) needs money for his mother's care, and he gets it by choking on his food in expensive restaurants and letting strangers save him. Ida (Anjelica Huston) lives in a hospital with Alzheimer's, while Victor spends his days in a colonial theme park and his evenings at sexual addiction meetings. Clark Gregg's film leaves him in a restaurant with a mouthful of food, the diners rising from their tables.
